Week in preview
Now that the holiday's are over, I can put things into HIGH gear.
I am waiting for my keys to Creative TreeHouse so that I can start using that studio as needed. Many potential clients are located in Pittsburgh and Bellevue is much closer to them than New Brighton. I also have to stop by the salon here in town to check on the status of the studio there. That sounds pretty cool when I talk about TWO studios. Actually, there might be three. I still haven't heard back from the owner of the building that might be torn down. Usage of that building is dependent on the status of the re-development in that area. No biggie if I don't get to use it.
Other things that must be taken care of SOON is the business name, logo and website. I have been using rustphoto in my emails for a while, but I think a spider ran amok and glommed onto rustphoto and they took that domain name for two years. I don't feel like negotiating with them so I have been trying to come up with something different. It won't be like my last domain that was fe2oh3. I still like that one, but trying to explain and spell it to a client...just won't work for a commercial venture. Unfortunately, the one and two syllable domain names I keep coming up with are already taken. I am close, very close.
To finish off the week, I will be researching fun things like INSURANCE and Thursday I will be doing a shoot with sixth graders at the junior high in preparation for career day in February. Their pictures will be used in the presentation about professional photographers.
