Things I thought I'd never say (Pt II)
OOOHHHH Shit! But much, much worse.
I lost a whole event's worth of images. They were not transferred over form my laptop to my external hard drive during my archive activities in December and they are now gone. Permanently.
I lost the whole 2007 Senior Bowl football game from November 3rd. There were about 1200 images of cheerleaders and football players in what was their last football/cheer game. Some will go on and play in high school, but many will never play again.
It makes me sick knowing how many images I lost because of carelessness and not following a plan of moving images from one place to another and ensuring their existence in any case of negligence or accident.
How did I figure it out? I had an order for pictures from a person who is know to spend big money. She wanted copies of everything I had taken of her grandson.
Salt in the wound.
